Poultry Farm
The Poultry Section consists of four layer houses, each with a stocking capacity of 15,000 birds. Currently, we have a total of 58,000 layer birds, yielding an average daily egg production of 1,100 crates. Our target is to further increase the daily egg production to 1,400 crates by June 2019.
Aquaculture
The aquaculture section consists of a total of 221 operational ponds. While the installed capacity allows for a production of well over 100,000 kilograms of fish per month, the current production level stands at less than 40,000 kilograms per month.
Feed Mill
Our farm operates a feed mill with a capacity of 2.0 tons per hour, primarily producing poultry feed for both internal use in the poultry section and for external sales. Furthermore, Rhyss Farm has recently expanded the feed mill’s capacity to 4.0 tons per hour, enabling it to operate commercially and cater to a wider customer base.
