Rhyss Farms is a 100% Nigerian-owned agribusiness, incorporated in 2007. Our layer houses, broiler unit and farmland all sit on one estate in Ikorodu, so we look after every step, from the birds to the crate and the freezer.

Our story

Led by Dr Yakub Olajide Basorun

Chairman and CEO, Rhyss Farm Ltd

A soil scientist and agricultural policy specialist with more than 35 years across academia, public service and agribusiness. He served as Permanent Secretary in three Lagos State ministries, including Agriculture, has published 19 technical papers and holds a patent in soil science.

Our mission is to create jobs and food security through sustainable animal farming, and help more Nigerians towards self-reliance.
